With over 10 years of experience working with children who have developmentally disabilities and/or mental health disorders, IOWT’s founder, Colin Cowan-DeWitt, has an unprecedented passion for helping children diagnosed with developmental disabilities and mental illnesses. Colin received his Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from The City College of CUNY and is currently obtaining a Master's in School Building Leadership from Fordham University. Colin is also a founding member at The Titus School and is currently the school's Program Director.

The Out of This World program will increase your child’s ability to socialize with age-appropriate peers while integrating into their communities. While taking a person-centered approach, each pairing will present opportunities for children to develop/build on the follow skills:
-Joint Attending
-Social Tolerance
-Environmental and Social Tolerance
-Frustration Tolerance, impulse control & waiting
-Intermediate Conversational Skills

Cost: $65 per hour
The Floaty program will promote your child’s ability to connect with recreational opportunities in New York City. This program will provide your child with an opportunity to explore new areas of interest while connecting them with age-appropriate peers.

Funds donated to the organization will go towards hosting group recreation activities, which will help to increase and strengthen social skills. Both the children enrolled in our programs and their families will benefit from the positive, enriching and mentally stimulating environment in which these activities will be taking place.
